Six new films have been ordered for the 50th season, after season 49 only consisted of three films. Episode 1 (“No Child’s Play”) was released on January 7, 2025, followed by Episode 2 (“Hope”) on January 14, 2025. The release of the remaining four episodes is currently unclear, so fans will have to be patient. With the length of the feature film, the makers continue with their successful concept, which guarantees extensive action scenes and intense stories.

An accident caused a delay

However, the anticipation for the new episodes was overshadowed by an injury to leading actor Erdogan Atalay. Last fall, a serious accident occurred on the set that required surgery and subsequent rehabilitation. Filming had to be interrupted for several months, which also delayed the broadcast. In the meantime, however, Erdogan Atalay was able to return so that all six films of the 50th season could be completed.
